Steel strapping, strapping tools, dispenser and seals

 

For several applications, steel strapping is still required and cannot be replaced by plastic strapping; that is the case for hot packaging goods or those with very sharp edges. If extremely high breaking strength is required, you often cannot do without. Steel strapping can be differentiated along several dimensions: strap width and thickness determining breaking strenght of a strap and quality grade like bright, quality or high tensile steel strap. Bright steel strapping has lowest values in terms of breaking strength and elongation per mm² whereas high tensile steel strap has the highest values. Furthermore, quality and high tensile steel strap can be differentiated according to the rust protection grade: blue-annealed provides the lowest, zinc-painted steel strap the highest rust protection (black-painted is in between).
